TORTURE KILLER Part Ways With Singer

September 26, 2004

Brutal Finnish death metallers TORTURE KILLER have parted ways with singer Matti Liuke. The band's official statement on the matter reads as follows:

"The worst kind of scenario we could think of occured on Sunday, 19th of september, just 3 days pior to the 'Blast Your Violence' tour. Vocalist Liuke is out of the band effective immediately. The situation is beyond repair, so we were left in a very difficult and frustrating situation in a moment when we needed it the least. Despite all of this, the tour will go on as scheduled. A friend of ours came to help when we needed him the most and so Sallinen (www.funeralfeast.cjb.net) is doing the vocals for this tour. This naturally effects on the setlist we had planned out for you fuckers but all in all, we should do very well with this line-up concerning this difficult situation we are at.

"Now, proving himself a total loser and a failure, the now ex-member was ahead of us and changed all the passwords we had for our band e-mails so update your contacts and the ONLY VALID e-mail address to reach TORTURE KILLER from now on is [email protected]. All mails from our previous address [email protected] should be ignored. Also if you´ve contacted us during the past two weeks be sure to drop us a line on the new contact address. Sorry for the inconvenience.

"All of this will naturally have some delaying effect on the recordings of the new album. We'll have to redo some of the stuff we had ready and we'll try a few different options to do the vocals on the album but we'll keep you informed about it. All I can say that TORTURE KILLER is far from over...long live death metal!!!"
